The best moments aren't planned, they happen in between. When your little one stops to collect another rock. When everyone bursts into laughter over something unexpected. When your partner reaches for your hand without thinking. You don't need to perform for the camera, you just need to be together.


My sessions are relaxed and documentary-inspired. I’ll offer gentle direction when you need it, but mostly, I want to give you space to explore, play, cuddle, wander, laugh, and forget the camera is even there.

FAQ

What should we wear for our session?

It's important that you still feel like you for your session. I'd recommend wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in. If colour is your thing, lean into it! I'd just avoid anything neon, that has big logos on it, or a really bold print. If you're still unsure about what to wear, I'm happy to provide further guidance before your shoot.

Where will we take photos?

I love to work with people to find the best place for photos depending on what their vision is. Shoots can take place in your home or backyard, at your favourite beach, or in a local park. If you have a more unique idea in mind, I'm all ears!

Do you travel for photoshoots?

I'm based in Victoria, BC and am currently only offering sessions in the Greater Victoria area.

How long does it take to get our photos?

I like to send my galleries in two parts. You'll receive sneak peeks within a few days, which are a handful of the best images from the shoot. Your full gallery will be ready within 3-weeks. Each gallery is sent by email with an easily shareable link.

Hi, I'm Amanda.

 

I’ve always been drawn to the little things. The ordinary, everyday things that sometimes get overlooked. The front porch you and your partner share coffee on. Morning snuggles on the couch with your little one. Summer evenings playing in the backyard with your kids.


These moments may feel too mundane to capture, but they often have a way of becoming our favourite memories, the ones that still bring back a feeling years later. Those are the photos I want to take.
